It is hard to believe we are heading into the busiest time of year for those of us in the envelope industry - between Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year and Valentines the coming weeks are some of the most hectic times of the year for planning, production and printing of our envelopes.

We are always looking at ways to improve our products and our service levels, regardless of the season. To that end we are ISO, PEFC and FSC Certified.  We are delighted to share the news that we passed our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Audit here at Trimfold Envelopes HQ last week with flying colours, with zero non conformances!  We  are very proud of the hard work put in by every member of the Trimfold Envelopes Team to ensure that we aced our audit. The seven principles behind the ISO 9001 are fundamental attributes of any quality management system, taken from ISO 9000:2015 Quality Management Systems – Fundamentals and Vocabulary and have served as a basis for the new ISO 9001:2015 standard. The seven key quality principles set out the rationale behind how a good organisation is managed. They guide the organisation on a path of continual improvement to ensure sustainability, particularly in changing times. The seven key principles themselves are not directly auditable, but their application within the standard is - they are Customer Focus, Leadership, Engagement of People, Process Approach, Improvement, Evidence-based Decision Making & Relationship Management.

Sustainability is something that we take very seriously, we only use paper from sustainable reputable sources, our manilla paper is made from 100% recycled post consumer waste, our inks and glues are water based, our window film is biodegradable. We source as much of our packing material locally as possible and our packing tape is made from recycled materials.
