Sales Manager Manufacturing (Co. Meath)


The Sales Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue, enhance brand visibility, and attract target customers. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in bespoke manufacturing sales and marketing, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs within Packaging & Print related products.

Reports to: General Manager

 


Sales Strategy and Management:

Develop and Execute Sales Plans: Create and implement strategic sales plans that align with the goals of the Company, including but not limited to corporate, group, leisure and Private Business segments.


Market Analysis: Conduct regular market analysis to identify new business opportunities and areas for growth.


Sales Targets: Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed objectives.


Sales Reporting: Prepare and present at weekly sales meeting, include forecasts, and performance metrics.

 


Marketing Strategy and Execution:

Campaign Development: Work closely with the Sales Team & General Manager to plan and initiate innovative marketing campaigns (digital and traditional) to drive both existing and New Business.


Social media and Online Presence: In collaboration with our social media partners, maintain online reputation, and website content to enhance visibility and engagement.

 

Advertising and Promotions: Think of new & engaging advertising campaigns, including print, digital, and media partnerships, to increase brand awareness and attract new customers. Work closely with the Marketing team, in accordance with the activity planner to deliver projects on time & in full.

 

Public Relations: Maintain an awareness of PR opportunities and liaise frequently with the wider Team to drive public relations efforts, including social media, and partnerships with local and national businesses and management boards.

 

 

Qualifications And Experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in; Marketing, Business Administration, People Management, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.


Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a
managerial role.


Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, digital marketing, social media platform awareness, and Microsoft Office Suite.


Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Packaging/Print industry, including market trends, competitor analysis, and customer
demographics.


Must Haves: Fluency in English, Current EU Work Permit, Full Clean Driving Licence, Direct sales plus experience of selling through Partners.

 

Salary: Depends on experience (DOE)
