It is with a mix of sadness and excitement for the future that we announce the retirement of Mark Sears effective from 31st December 2026. After 39 incredible years of dedicated service in the envelope industry, Mark has decided to close this chapter of his career. During his time as CEO he has been an invaluable asset to the team, bringing endless positivity and excellent leadership skills. We are grateful for his dedication and friendship over the years. We will miss his daily presence, input, and enthusiasm.
We are thrilled for him as he embarks on this well-deserved next chapter in his life and wish him all the very best in his retirement.
NB: Please note between now and 31 December 2026, Mark will not be undertaking any senior management duties as he will be limiting his hours of work to conducting only work related to the sale of specific machines for the Company and the Group. Therefore, from today, any contact you would have previously had with Mark in his role as CEO and as part of senior management should be directed instead to Stefan Buchenau (Stefan.Buchenau@mk-n.com) and Thomas Schwarz (Thomas.Schwarz@mk-n.com).
